Track candidates for statewide and legislative office in 2026

It’s one year and three months until the 2026 Oregon Primary election (held on May 19th, 2026), but because politics is an all consuming beast with zero manners, the campaign season has already begun. Candidates are updating their PAC filings and making announcements to the press or supporters about their intentions to run (or not) in 2026. There is only one way to keep track of it all: The Crosstabs Candidate Tracker.

In 2016, I created a simple document to track all candidate announcements that were happening at the time. I quickly realized that there are others who are interested in politics and would benefit from this document. I proceeded to create a simple page on my website in hopes of helping a few people keep track of the candidate field as it unfolded.

Fast forward to today and this will be the 10th year I’ve run the candidate tracker. Bookmark this page and check back occasionally.
